Deane Channer

Deane Channer is the owner of Channer Construction and is a member of NWB’s board. Deane founded his company nearly 10 years ago while being fueled and empowered by starting his own family and wanting to create his own legacy. Deane’s direction to pursue construction was assisted by his love for working with his hands, being a self-starter and through past experiences that taught him valuable skills about the trade.

Deane has based the success of his team on taking pride in providing exceptional customer service, being reliable, efficient and ensuring client expectations are exceeded. This includes careful organization, planning and scheduling that best suits client’s needs and timelines. Deane treats every project like if it were his own property and as a result, Channer Construction has received several positive acknowledgements and accolades for completed projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

​Deane also works with Red Door Family Shelter (RDFS) who aides in assisting families, refugees and women fleeing violence as well as providing services to the city of Toronto by making repairs to apartment construction and apartment units. Deane’s approach to life is to be respectful and to stay humble.

​He learned from an early age that “respect will carry you a long way” and he confirms that in his life this statement has proven to be true. Deane also understands the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and one filled with gratitude. These are principals that he lives by and ones that he teaches his children.
